Since I really have nothing to say, I’ll give you guys a desktop update:

Sorry, WordPress killed the size D: My desktop is small anyway, though. Like, inbetween 800×600 and 1024×768. It’s 960×600 XD;;; What an odd size. But it’s a size I can stand and my moniter doesn’t scream at me when it’s using it ;;

Anyway, isn’t it cute? I need to make my RocketDock icons less miss-matched…but I like how it looks invisi next to the MikuMiku Wp. I am happy with it for now~~

From the Blu website, the volume one summary reads thus:  ”People are starting to act very odd around Norio. This average, normal boy is suddenly getting a lot of unwanted romantic attention and he can’t figure out why! A broken leg and a fall down the stairs into the arms of a handsome stranger set off the beginnings of an explanation, and it is one Norio never could have possibly imagined. Soon a whole new world opens up for Norio, revealing a secret society of special people evolved from animals other than monkeys. This society has a complex structure and its members are ranked by rarity and desirability, and it turns out that Norio is a particularly rare breed and his DNA is in much demand! How will he survive in this modern jungle where he’s suddenly the prey?”

That’s pretty much the basic structure of Sex Pistols (retitled Love Pistols for American release). Seems kinda wacky, huh? HahahahahahaNO. It’s nothing but fucked up crazy shit, that’s what it is.

Not that that’s a bad thing.It’s just that what might be discernible as a plot is barely there and once you do grab onto what’s going on it gets confusing. Every time I read a page, I have to reflect back to my handy relationship chart:

Yeah. And it never stays on one character for very long. It goes couple by couple (most of the time), explains their dramatic situation then smooshes them all together and then more chaos ensues. At first, you think that maybe the main pairing is a oneshot of kinds, because after they show their two chapters there’s another 5 or 6 in-between where they’re the main focus.

And a big point: The biological issue. It makes no damn sense. It seems like the author put all this thought into making up the history and workings of this species for no reason. Nothing else makes sense, so why should this? It doesn’t. How did Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei handle things like this…? Hmm… To put it in a kind of situational thing (to make you kind of understand what I’m getting at). If you have a poorly painted wall with an ugly decorative theme, you don’t deserve to hang a Rembrandt on the wall. You feel me now?

Speaking of bad art, this art certainly does take some getting used to. I can’t tell if the art got a bit better/more polished as the series went on or if my eyes just adjusted and made it look better in my brain.

To tie everything up with closing words, this would be good to read if you like smut and just…crackness. I like BL with more of a plot to it, so this wasn’t exactly to my taste, but I still like it a lot <3 It makes no damn sense (most of the time), but the characters are cute and to die for. I think this would be one of my favorite series if it was done by a different mangaka; one who could tweak things to make them flow better and make the art a little more manageable.

So Twiggy gives it 3 1/2 stars out of 5~

The basic plot of this game is that you are a guy (Hisao) who has discovered he has a near-fatal heart condition which has no cure. His entire life will now be filled with meds and hospital visits. Depressed enough without being told he has to attend a new school, he agrees to go with his stupid emo psychology (not his common sense) and complies. But this school is no average school (I bet NO ONE saw that coming /eyeroll). This is a school for the……DISABLED.

Yes you read that right.

I still don’t know if you have to necessarily BED these poor maimed girls (who have worse conditions than Hisao, but are ten times happier), but since it was developed by 4chan lurkers from Brown Uni., I’m pretty sure this is going to more of a fetish!nightmare than Sweet Emo Crutch Land.

This is part of your 2nd year class. Notice anything odd about two male students? In the center of the bunch we see Lelouche Lamperwhatever the fuck and if you look one desk to the left and one down, you’ll find Haruki Suzumiya. Yeah, definitely 4chan lurkers. Another guy you meet later….

….is a total Harry Potter rip-off, down to the yellow/maroon scarf. I’m probably missing some people (like there’s something suspicious about the brownish chick <<;; Totally seen her somewhere), but look forward to a lot of little things thrown in to make you either proud to be an otaku or cry yourself to sleep because yes, you ARE that pathetic.

The first girl you get to meet is Misha (Pinku, as I call her) who has no known disability, but is instead there to translate everything to the competitive, student council leader Shizune (I call her Mega-kun XD;; Get it? HahahahahaNO >:) who happens to be mute and deaf. So most of the time Hisao just goes off on all the gestures they share, which proves kind of yawn worthy. Pinku is totally bitch!slap-able and Mega-kun is…just kind of there. Pinku talks for her, so it’s not even necessary to have Mega-kun there. After a while you kind of forget that Mega-kun is in the conversation because she’s totally overtaken by Pinku here. I can’t personally tell whose personality is whose unless Mischa doesn’t know what’s going on, so she has to give a direct translation. Moving on to this:

WTF is wrong with Mega-kun’s face? That’s a disability in and of itself D:<

Right now, I get to start on this chick who seems to be blind (Note how her eyes are closed D: Fucking Nunnally syndrome) Her name is Lily, and she’s supposed to be calm and composed. I totally wanna see her Tsundere out XD
